The rear differential module loads in from the top, and the axle end plates are removed to allow installation of the half-shaft into the module. Install the wheel hubs on the end plates, and end plates onto the carrier, and welcome yourself to a whole new world of traction and performance with the ACME “Big Stick” Traction Enhancement Module!

Typical live-axle drivelines wont fit into todays modern vehicles that are designed for Independent Rear Suspension (IRS). The patented ACME Offset Live Axle allows for repackaging of the rear differential housing from the wheel centerline. With the ACME “Big Stick” Traction Enhancement Module, you’re now able to enjoy all the benefits of 4-link traction without the headaches (and cost) of cutting up your car!

Similar to your IRS unit, the ACME “Big Stick” Traction Enhancement Module packages all of the link mounts via a common cradle for strength and rigidity. Eliminating rubber mounts, this cradle increases the stiffness of your vehicle while also giving rock-reliability, repeatability and performance that you would expect from ACME! We control the NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) via high-durometer rubber bushings on the cradle-side of the links, while using a Delrin/stainless R-Joint on the other for articulation and control. You can have all the performance without the creaks, rattles and groans of a race car!

Factory shock mounting locations allows the coil over shocks to be packaged for maximum control and reliability. The axle tubes are notched for exhaust clearance, allowing to connect your factory mid-pipe to your factory mufflers or any combination you choose! Optional rear sway bar allows for straight launches at the dragstrip and controlling body roll in the turns.

The system retains factory wheel speed sensors, e-brake system and cables, and caliper mount locations so that your traction control, ABS and e-brake functions remain factory-functional! Adjustable link locations mean you can control the amount of anti-squat that is induced from engine torque, allowing for those hard launches you’ve never had from IRS! With minor adjustments, you can go from wheelie-level drag strip traction, to no-prep street action, to setting lap records, all with the same system.
