The rear differential module loads in from the top, and the axle end plates are removed to allow installation of the half-shaft into the module. Similar to your IRS unit, the ACME “Big Stick” Traction Enhancement Module packages all of the link mounts via a common cradle for strength and rigidity. Eliminating rubber mounts, this cradle increases the stiffness of your vehicle while also giving rock-reliability, repeatability and performance that you would expect from ACME! We control the NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) via high-durometer rubber bushings on the cradle-side of the links, while using a Delrin/stainless R-Joint on the other for articulation and control. The system retains factory wheel speed sensors, e-brake system and cables, and caliper mount locations so that your traction control, ABS and e-brake functions remain factory-functional!
