Diesel Jeeps before they were a thing. This had a 2.8 liter VM Motori Diesel engine, not allowed for road use in the United States at the time. It had Euro4 spec emissions controls which made it super illegal to drive on public roadways.
We converted 4-door Jeep Rubicons destined for Russia, Philippines and South Korea into 2-door pickup trucks. 18 in total, 7 of which were fully autonomous.
The pictures of the broken idler pulley are a fun story. We’d developed a secondary accessory drive to run an insanely large alternator. The drive pulley wasn’t dampened, and at 33 hours of idle time, the forces that would transfer through the accessory belt would work-harden and crack the idler pulley. Solution? Billet idler pulley and problem solved.
